40,000 years ago, early humans painted hands on the wall of a cave. This morning, my baby cousin began finger painting. All of recorded history happened between these two paintings of human hands. The Nazca Lines and the Mona Lisa. The first TransAtlantic flight and the first voyage to the Moon. Humanity invented the wheel, the telescope, and the nuclear bomb. We eradicated wild poliovirus types 2 and 3. We discovered radio waves, dinosaurs, and the laws of thermodynamics. Freedom Riders crossed the South. Hippies burned their draft cards. Countless genocides, scientific advancements, migrations, and rebellions. More than a hundred billion humans lived and died between these two paintings—one on a sheet of paper, and one on the inside of a cave. At the dawn of time, ancient humans stretched out their hands. And this morning, a child reached back.
Always in a constant state of "hmm maybe I wasn't as normal in that conversation as I thought I was"
Yes I am incredibly intrigued with Fizz’s character and what he’s going to do moving forward, and yes, I would immediately punt him into the sun given the opportunity. These two things can exist simultaneously

Dancing In The Dark (Bruce Springstein)
I check my look in the mirror/I wanna change my clothes, my hair, my face...There's something happening somewhere/Baby, I just know that there is/You can't start a fire/You can't start a fire without a spark/This gun's for hire/Even if we're just dancing in the dark
I ain't getting nowhere, i'm just living in a dump like this/There's something happening somewhere, baby i just know that there is
"It’s so sad yet hopeful too? Like all the talk of insecurities and miseries and the acceptance of a sort of futility in it all, but you’ve got to try to live anyway. The poppy tune really emphasizes this hopeful notion. Its also very relatable like yeah Mr Springsteen we ARE just dancing in the dark."
"I listened to born in the usa album at 8 years old and it fundamentally changed me forever. was there any aspect of bruce singing about the vietnam war and blue collar work and lost love that was directly relatable to me as a child? nope but the emotions of the songs were instantly so powerful"
Great Gig in the Sky (Pink Floyd)
I am not frightened of dying/Any time will do, I don't mind/Why should I be frightened of dying?/There's no reason for it, you've gotta go sometime/I never said I was frightened of dying
"The singers voice is sound so mindnumbingly sad and beautiful paired with the instrumentals it gives me chills"
